Henry Purcell
Henry Purcell was an English composer in the Baroque period. He is considered to be one of the more influential and famous English composers of all time. During his lifetime he wrote many piece for the English royal family, particularly for birthdays and funerals. His most well-known works include his opera Dido and Aeneas, The Fairy Queen.
