I was born in Chicago, IL, but for most of my life I have lived in California. I survived the 60鈥檚 without getting into drugs or getting arrested, so I figured with that accomplishment, I was ready for anything. During the 70鈥檚 and 80鈥檚 I expanded my horseback riding skills in jumping and dressage at Stanford University. Also, during the entire decade of the 80鈥檚, I was either on stage playing a flapper, a cowgirl, a hooker from the 1500鈥檚, or a sheep in the Garden of Eden, or some other dream occupation, or I was learning the behind-the-scenes skills that went into running a stage production.

I began writing plays in 1989, and have been extremely fortunate in having 5 plays published by Samuel French, which have all been produced worldwide.

What I like most of all about writing is that the possibilities are endless. There鈥檚 a big world out there, so there will always be something to write about. I had to decide what style I wanted to write, which ended up being an easy decision. Since I love to make people laugh, comedy became my best friend.

In 2001, I wrote and began performing, 鈥淭he Vampire Tour of San Francisco.鈥� This is definitely one of the highlights of my life, and I still enjoy conducting this tour very much. The audience is what makes it so much fun for me. I鈥檝e met some wonderful people on the tour. Also, I have learned so much about San Francisco鈥檚 history that I probably would not have known without the tour. I have expanded my vampire tours to New York and London, with more to come.

I鈥檓 married to my wonderful husband, Nick, who I have known since I was 17 years old. In 2012 we moved to Mariposa, and live just outside Yosemite National Park. I never dreamed I would live in such a beautiful part of the world.
