Overview

Synopsis

Pride & Prejudice like you have never experienced it before: quick, fun, and easy to understand. Jane Austen’s familiar tale centers on the turbulent relationship between Elizabeth Bennet, the daughter of a country gentleman, and Mr. Darcy, a rich aristocratic landowner. Elizabeth’s mother, Mrs. Bennet is anxious to see all her daughters married, especially as their modest family estate is to be inherited by Mr. Collins when Mr. Bennet dies. She is therefore over the moon when the wealthy--and available--Mr. Bingley moves into the neighborhood. But will one of her girls catch his eye? And what about his friend, the aloof Mr. Darcy?

This fun adaptation is fully cast adjustable for 8-16+ actors, kids, families, or anyone who wants to enjoy and perform Jane Austen’s classic novel.

There are 3 versions available for performance:
1. 8-10+ actors - 15 minutes in length
2. 11-13+ actors - 20 minutes in length
3. 14-16+ actors - 25 minutes in length

Pride & Prejudice for Kids is a play versatile enough for sibling fun, classes, drama groups, homeschool groups, or backyard performances.
