
Overview
Synopsis
Ça Ira Ira is an opera about real life events that occurred during the French Revolution between 1789-93 and led to overthrow of King Louis XVI and the establishment of the Republic. King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette are victims of the people's revolt and are imprisoned and beheaded. The opera ends with characters looking forward to a future filled with liberty and lack of violence.
