Die Walk眉re is the second opera of Wagner鈥檚 epic Der Ring des Nibelungen, commonly known as 鈥楾he Ring Cycle鈥�. It follows Das Rheingold, and precedes Siegfried and 骋枚迟迟别谤诲盲尘尘别谤耻苍驳. Die Walk眉re was first performed in 1870, and just six years later, in 1876, the complete Ring Cycle was first performed.
