Act One

The excitement begins at Streakin鈥�, a recovery 鈥渞ap鈥� group of modern-day professionals who believe denim is a far out fabric to choose as business attire. Six people (and of course, the audience!) have come together to indulge in their addiction to all things 1970s. The group is here to rediscover and bring back to life the highs and lows of a much-maligned decade.

They introduce themselves with a wicked round robin of song. Tyrone clings to a Love Machine persona (鈥淵ou Sexy Thing鈥�). Chrissie is a spaced-out love child (鈥淗ave You Never Been Mellow鈥�). Tripp deems himself a lovable stoner (鈥淪mokin鈥� in the Boys鈥� Room鈥�), Gloria is a proud feminist (鈥淚 Am Woman鈥�), Donny is a super-friendly square (鈥淓verything Is Beautiful鈥�), and Angela is the foxy lady (鈥淟ady Marmalade.鈥�)

As the excitement continues they each try on different identities in a variety of mass-media and real-life situations.
