Overview

Synopsis

David (an annoying young high school boy) is in detention with Mandy (a smart girl who never gets into trouble). She is there because of something he did. She is studying a book on Ancient Greece but David starts bad mouthing the Greek Gods (Hercules was a wimp) and states that they are not real. But Zeus was listening from a cloud and decides to teach these two a lesson, and sends them back to Ancient Greece.

The story then parallels Grease--the Musical, only in togas! The teachers are Aristotle and Plato. The boys fix up a chariot to the song "Greece Lightning" and Medusa is the beauty school teacher. The pink ladies are the Greek goddesses Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, and Pandora. The T-birds are the Greek gods Achilles, Hercules, Apollo, and Ares.

Mandy (now known as Mandimeno) is worried about changing history, but she has fallen for Hercules. David (Davidius-the god of hockey) has a date with Aphrodite, but also has Ares, the god of war and a sworn enemy who intends to "crush him under his chariot wheels at the Olympics鈥. Their only hope is Mandy's knowledge of Ancient Greece and...Medusa?

Will Mandy and David make it back. Will they change history? And will Greece ever be the same? You couldn't pack more fun into Pandora's box!
