Context
Daniel Kaffee, a lawyer for the US Navy, is the defense counsel appointed to two young Marines accused of murdering another soldier in their unit. Although he is well trained, he鈥檚 fairly inexperienced and has a track record of plea bargaining. He has a meeting with the prosecutor, a savvy and shrewd man named Jack Ross. They haggle back and forth over the boys鈥� sentence.
