Context
Sweets and Potts are sitting upstairs in the Atlantic Club in Soho. The club is owned by Ezra, a local gangster, and the two men work for him. There is a meeting going on in the next room between Ezra and rival gang leader, Sam Ross. Sweets and Potts are waiting outside the meeting for a pot of tea to brew, before they take it in to the room. Both men have been popping pills all day and are high.
