Context
Pericles left his baby daughter, Marina is Tarsus many years ago, When he finally comes back for her, he is told that she is dead. After losing his wife when Marina was born, the thought of having lost his daughter too was too much to bear, and Pericles becomes so depressed that he no longer speaks. When his boat comes to Mytilene, they hear from the governor, Lysimachus, that there is a girl in town who may be able to get him to speak. They bring her and it is Marina. Through the scene,
