Older Emilio and Younger Emilio are versions of the same person at different points in time. Emilio is a political prisoner confined to a tiny prison cell and subjected to physical and psychological torture. He is being held with no charges and has had no trial. Younger Emilio is still full of resentment and anger. He has not yet embraced his identity as a prisoner and refers to himself as being 鈥渋n prison.鈥� Older Emilio does consider himself a 鈥減risoner鈥� and has a different outlook. He is
