Context
Ned has made a successful career in the movie business and now lives in London. He has been estranged from his father for years, after a childhood of abuse and hatred. He also barely speaks to his mother, who cannot accept her son鈥檚 homosexuality. It has taken Ned a long time to accept and like himself, but he is now in that place.
