Ned goes to see his brother to ask Ben to consider joining the GMHC鈥檚 board of directors. Ned is starting to get more media coverage through his confrontational style of raising awareness, but it鈥檚 also scaring many and making him enemies. However, Ben is reluctant to get involved, seeming more concerned with the cost of his new house. The brothers descend into a an argument over Ben鈥檚 refusal to fully accept Ned鈥檚 homosexuality, which they have clearly had many times before. Ned hates Ben鈥檚

START: BEN: You got your free legal work from my firm; now I鈥檓 not going to be on your board of directors too.
NED: I got our free legal work from your firm by going to Norman and he said, 鈥淥f course, no problem.鈥� I asked him, 鈥淒on鈥檛 you have to put it before your committee?鈥� And he said, 鈥淣ah, I鈥檒l just tell them we鈥檙e going to do it.鈥�
BEN: Well鈥ou got it.
NED: All I鈥檓 asking for is the use of your name.
