Context
Benjamin, a disillusioned young college graduate, is in love with Elaine, a bright and optimistic junior at Berkeley College. Their budding romance was destroyed, however, when Elaine finds out that Benjamin had an affair with her mother. In this scene, Benjamin has arrived in Berkeley and, after noticing him stalking her around town, Elaine visits Benjamin in his boarding house room to demand an explanation for his presence. Start: Elaine: Benjamin why are you here?
Benjamin: Would you like to come in?
Elaine: I want to know what you鈥檙e doing here in Berkeley.
End: Elaine: No.
Benjamin: The day after?
Elaine: I don鈥檛 know.
Benjamin: Are we getting married?
Elaine: Maybe we are and maybe we aren鈥檛.
