Tracey is outside smoking a cigarette and upset because her best friend got promoted over her. Oscar is the Dominican busboy at the bar and comes outside for his break. Oscar is not a fan of Tracey because she either ignores him or treats him different because he鈥檚 Latino. There have been rumors flying around that the steel plant where Tracey works is going to be laying off people, and sure enough, Oscar shows Tracey a job posting calling for non-union Latino workers.
