Context
It is Christmas Eve 2017 and Eric arrives at the theatre for his annual trip to see The Nutcracker. However, one by one, all of his friends make their excuses and do not show up. The only one to come is Tristan, who arrives with big news. He has decided to move to Canada as he does not believe there is a place for a 鈥済ay, HIV postive, black man鈥� to live in America anymore. He tells Eric that the country is drowning and he doesn鈥檛 want to sink with it.
