Context
After several years away from the theatre, Esme is back on stage in London in a new play. She is in huge debt and every penny she earns is taken to pay it off. She is surprised when Dominic, her son-in-law, appears in her dressing room in between shows as they have been estranged for many years. Her daughter and Dominic鈥檚 wife, Amy, has died and Dominic has remarried. Dominic and Esme have always butted heads and argued vehemently ever since they first met as they disagree on where to place
