It is Tuesday night and that is normally badminton night at the Women鈥檚 Institute (W.I.). Despite the fact that there is no net as the other ladies have taken it with them to the Yorkshire Show, the chairman Marie is determined that badminton night will go ahead as usual. Only she and Ruth have turned up to play and Marie is very much in charge of their ridiculous attempts to play a game of badminton without a net.
