Alice is desperately looking for someone to help her get out of Wonderland. She enters the Duchess' house looking for some answers. Instead, she stumbles across Duchess, nursing a baby, and Cook, bumbling around the kitchen. The Duchess sings the baby strange lullabies. Alice can鈥檛 believe the mess Cook is making in the kitchen. Start: (The Duchess sits on a three-legged stool in the middle, nursing a baby. The Cook leans over the stove, stirring a large cauldron, full of soup. A large cat sits on the rug and grins from ear to ear. Alice begins to sneeze) ALICE: There鈥檚 certainly too much pepper in that soup! (The Duchess sneezes occasionally as well. The baby sneezes and howls alternatingly without a moment鈥檚 pause) ALICE: Please would you tell me why your cat grins like that? DUCHESS: It鈥檚 a Cheshire Cat, and that鈥檚 why.
[鈥� 鈥� 鈥�.]
End: (The baby grunts) ALICE: Don鈥檛 grunt, that鈥檚 not the proper way to express yourself! (The baby grunts again) ALICE: If you鈥檙e going to turn into a pig, my dear, I鈥檒l have nothing more to do with you. (The baby grunts even louder. Alice undoes the baby鈥檚 blanket to reveal that it is, in fact, a pig. Alice, quite alarmed, sets the creature down. The pig trots away. ALICE: Curiouser and curiouser鈥�...
