Nadia: Anger against the world. The world, for standing by, for knowing and not intervening. Nadia shakes her head, remembering. Endless days, days lying on a floor in a blackout, watching people die for no purpose, for no reason, except the world’s laziness. [... � …] Because they didn’t believe the war would come anywhere near them. *Oliver reaches tactfully for the bottle and refills her glass. * Well, now they have their war, and good luck to them.
